Our principles
- Accuracy first — every figure is taken from the provider or a government source and shown with an “as of” date. If we could not confirm a figure, we say “See issuer” instead of guessing.
- Transparency — we show the formula behind every calculation and label advertising clearly.
- Independence — advertisers cannot buy a higher ranking or a better review.
- Plain language — no jargon without an explanation.
- Corrections — if something is wrong, we fix it quickly and note the change.
How we make money
FinancePortal is free to use. We may earn revenue from advertisements served through Google Ad Manager and similar networks, and in the future from clearly disclosed referral partnerships. What we are not
We are not a bank, lender, credit card issuer, broker-dealer, registered investment adviser or credit bureau. We do not take deposits, make loans, issue cards or collect card, bank or Social Security numbers. Always apply on the provider’s official website.
